Battle in Coxsackie, NY Friday Aug 16 to Sunday Aug 18.
Friday: there will be a tour of DE 766 USS SLATER from stem to stern with all the nooks and crannies. The tour starts promptly at 1300 and will cover ALL areas of the ship including areas normally off-tour. Wear appropriate footwear as vertical ladders and small hatches will be accessed. Tour will take approximately 3 hours with a short break during.
Saturday: three battles are planned with breakfast, grilled lunch, and dinner on site.
Sunday: breakfast and AM battle
House has bunk room and 15 acres to camp. There is also a Budget Inn and Holiday Inn Express just off I-87 a couple miles from pond location. If wondering if it is a worthy site just ask Will, Steve, or Caleb. Contact Carl for reservations and address. Wife and tour of ship will require Carl to know attendance.
