Additional Notes:
Annual week-long national competition of model warship combat! CO2 will be provided. The shelter is reserved for our use but it is fine to bring personal popup tents, tables, and chairs. Recovery floats are required on all ships! Expect the typical NATS battle format, starting every day at 9am:
Monday: Fleet Battle 1 and 2.
Tuesday: Fleet Battle 3 and Campaign 1.
Wednesday: Small Secondary Ship Battle and Pickup Battles like Parent-Child Battles, Individual combat, Axis-Allied Battle).
Wednesday Evening After Dark (about 9pm): single sortie Night Battle.
Thursday: Fleet Battle 4 and Campaign 2.
Friday: Fleet Battle 5 and Individual Challenge Battles (all scoring must be done by 3 PM).
Members should register for the event through the Registration/Signup button above, then return to his page and use this "Pay NATS Registration Fee" link (PayPal, Venmo, and CC accepted) to pay for the event. Registration fee is $150 for the week. (The "PAID" column on the sign-up above will update periodically as the club treasurer has opportunities to check for payments)
Menu is coming later but will include Gatorade and lunch lakeside on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and of course the Annual Awards Banquet on Friday evening (and probably pizza and sodas for the rules meeting). Expect a lot of Barbecue!
Hotel is Best Western Albemarle Inn Hotel (Direct line is 170-498-5111). When making reservations ask to be part of the Model Boat Club (talk to Brianna or Melissa) or register online and use the Best Western Rewards Club for the best rate.
